At the time, Bailey had outlived the time she was thought to have left because of cancer. So mom wanted a photo session with her and her two boys because there are few things sweeter than a boy and his dog.

Karelle’s Kanines (of Karelle Photography) partnered up again with the Abandoned Animal Rescue of Tomball for their first annual Paws for a Cause, a dog fun walk. My role at the event was to take a picture of each dog so that it could be printed and they could take it home. These are just a few of the doggies that stopped by to have their photo taken – some of them have homes and a few others are still looking for homes. I love my job and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of this event!

Dogs need headshots, too, especially if you’re the mascot for Dog Desserts. Frazier is still a young pup but he’s full of energy and has several tricks he can do. Check out that jump!

This baby girl’s arrival was celebrated in December with friends and family at a “farm animals” themed baby shower. I finally got to meet her at her newborn session and she’s just too cute for words. I know that she’ll be very well taken care of by her parents but she also has the extra help of her brothers, Boris and Barney.

Karelle’s Kanines hosted this event to benefit the Abandoned Animal Rescue in Tomball and we partnered with Bruster’s Ice Cream on Louetta Road and with Dog Desserts (www.dogdesserts.com). We’re so very thankful to everyone who came out to have their picture taken as well as other people that wanted to find out more about AAR. It was a beautiful day to be outside with out little furry friends!

As part of the “opening” of Karelle’s Kanines I wanted to host an event that will benefit a local organization so I chose the Abandoned Animal Rescue in Tomball because I’ve been interested in them for a few years now. I can’t wait till Sunday February 6 when I’ll be photographing for Paws of Love for the very first time. As per the announcement below, part of my proceeds go towards AAR as well as a donation from each client. This will be a la “mall Santa” style so show up early to avoid waiting in line too long. Can’t wait to meet all your Kanines!!
