Mariana and Juan Carlos and I met up for their engagement session on a warm afternoon and they were so fun and engaging from the start. They didn't need any time to warm up for the camera - they were cute and flirty almost immediately. I'm so pleased with the results of their photography session!

Word on the streets has it that Juan Carlos was in a gang when he was a teenager. A dancing gang. Or something like that. The details are vague but there may have also been grafitti involved. True story. Cross my heart.

I love when my clients tie in their lives to their engagement sessions. It really personalizes the session for them and it makes their photography session unique. Evelyn and Sevren and I first headed to some horse stables and then ended up at the airport since they are both pilots. How cool is that?

I'd been looking forward to this engagement session for over a month because I was excited about the opportunity to do "whatever I wanted!" After finding out a little more about the two of them, we came up with the idea of having a city/country theme since she's a city girl and he's a country boy. They also knew that they wanted to include their doggies in the photography session. And when I heard "motorcycle," I knew that we had to do something with the bike. A really great day ended even better than Brittainy had expected when Mark took her to Hermann Park inbetween an afternoon show and dinner. As they strolled through the park, he pulled her aside and got down on one knee. Between tears of happiness, she said "yes" and remained in total shock. Thanks for letting me witness such a sweet moment!
