Many families look forward to the holidays to gather together in the same city and this is the perfect opportunity for a family portrait session! The Requadt family coordinated their outfits and colors across four states and were ready to go early in the morning. They had a perfect location in their backyard so we didn’t have to go far. It was a special treat to watch the little cousins and also fun for me to watch the adults trying to get their attention for the pictures. That’s always my favorite part!

It’s a joy to watch this little lady getting bigger and photographing her! And what’s more exciting is that mom and dad have been coming up with new ideas for each photo session so this time we had a little mermaid and a very cute tub.
If you’ve never thought of photographing during their first year, give it another thought. They’ll never be that tiny again and it’s such a wonderous journey, watching them discover how to walk and talk and become little people. I’m not really sure when “tween” becomes “teen” but I had a wonderful time photographing this young lady as a 14 year old. It was great finding out more about her and learning that she likes to dance and she enjoys music. Does she remind you of anyone…..hmmmm?

I’m so glad we finally made this session come together! I thoroghly enjoyed photographing this lovely family and their two girls are just sweet as pie. And cute, too! And well behaved! And cooperative! Ok, I’ll stop but I could keep going on. It was a race against time as we watched the sun finally come out but then go just as quickly but I’m so happy with the results of our patience. I can’t wait to work with you guys again!
